Brewers at the plate:
Johnny Estrada had two hits, including a two-out RBI single in the sixth, driving in Bill Hall, who reached on a fielding error by Cubs center fielder Alfonso Soriano. Hall hit a game-tying RBI single with two outs in the seventh off Sean Gallagher.
Cubs at the plate:
Micah Hoffpauir hit a one-out homer in the ninth for the game-winner. Jacque Jones hit a two-run single with two out in the first, and Eric Patterson had two hits and a stolen base.
Brewers on the mound:
Starter Claudio Vargas gave up two runs on four hits over three innings. Zach Jackson threw two scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out one.
Cubs on the mound:
Jason Marquis threw three shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk, and striking out two. Closer Ryan Dempster made his second spring appearance, giving up one hit and striking out two in one inning.

Brewers 3-4; Cubs 2-3-1.
The Brewers will play a pair of split-squad games at 2:05 p.m. CT on Wednesday. One squad will host the Giants, with Dave Bush slated to start against San Francisco right-hander Tim Lincecum. The Brewers will also play in Tucson against the Rockies, with Carlos Villanueva starting. The Cubs will play host to the A's at 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday at HoHoKam Park. Carlos Zambrano, the club's Opening Day starter, is set to make his second spring start. Former Notre Dame wide receiver Jeff Samardzija is on the list of pitchers to see action as well.
