Cubs up next:
The Cubs play host to the Angels on Friday at HoHoKam Park. Ryan Dempster, battling for a spot in the rotation, will make his fourth spring start. Padres up next:
The Padres will play under the lights on Friday. San Diego plays host to the Milwaukee Brewers in Peoria, sending lefty Randy Wolf to the mound.
