Cubs announce 2012 Spring Training schedule
CHICAGO -- The Cubs released their 2012 Spring Training schedule on Monday, which includes three meetings with new manager Dale Sveum's former team, the Brewers.

The Cubs will play 16 home games at HoHoKam Park in Mesa, Ariz., and two games in Las Vegas, March 17-18. The opponent for the Las Vegas series will be announced at a later date. Spring Training report dates will be announced later as well.

The Cubs begin the 2012 Cactus League schedule on March 4 against the Athletics at home, the first of three straight home games.

The Cubs will close the schedule on April 3 against the Brewers. The Cubs and White Sox will square off twice: March 9 in Glendale and March 18 at HoHoKam Park.

Individual game tickets for the 2012 home Spring Training games will go on sale Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. CT on cubs.com or by calling 1-800-905-3315. The HoHoKam Park ticket box office will open for the sale of individual game tickets beginning Jan. 17 at 9 a.m. MT.

Season tickets at HoHoKam Park go on sale Jan. 4 at 9 a.m. MT, and group tickets go on sale Jan. 5 at 9 a.m. MT at the HoHoKam box office or by calling 480-964-4467.
