CHICAGO -- The Cubs and White Sox are gambling that fans want to see more games between the two teams, and they have added exhibition games in March in Las Vegas.
The Cubs and White Sox announced Monday they will play March 4 and March 5 at Cashman Field in Las Vegas, home of the Minor League team, the 51s. Both games will feature split-squads.
The Cubs still are scheduled to play the Indians on March 4 in Goodyear, Ariz., and they also will send a squad to Las Vegas for a 7:05 p.m. PT game. March 5 was listed as an off-day for the Cubs in Arizona, but now they will play the White Sox at 1:05 p.m. PT in Las Vegas.

The White Sox will have split-squad action in Phoenix on March 4 against the A's and on March 5 in Glendale against the Dodgers. The team has off on Tues., March 3, the day before the Las Vegas/Cubs excursion begins.
The Cubs and White Sox also are scheduled to play Feb. 28 and March 27 in Mesa, Ariz., and March 21 in Glendale, Ariz.
The Cubs will open Cactus League play on Feb. 25 in Mesa against the Dodgers, and they will close April 3-4 at new Yankee Stadium against the Yankees.
