Cubs Convention passes on sale November 7

Individual weekend passes for the 2013 Cubs Convention will go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. CST. Each weekend pass is $60 plus convenience fees. Passes will be available for purchase by visiting www.cubs.com or calling 1-800-THE-CUBS.

The 28th Annual Cubs Convention will feature Cubs celebrity guests including players, coaches, alumni and some of the organization’s top Minor League prospects. Fans will be able meet, listen to and secure autographs from these special Cubs guests. This year’s convention offers a new location and experiences for adults and kids of all ages at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers in downtown Chicago, Jan. 18-20, 2013.

Attendees are still able to book rooms at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers by calling the hotel at 800-233-4100 and asking for the Cubs Convention rate of $179 per night plus tax. Guests who book a two-night stay will receive a limited-edition authenticated, autographed photo of Anthony Rizzo and Brett Jackson. Hotel guests may purchase up to four Cubs Convention passes for a reduced rate of $20 each.

Cubs Convention will take place Friday, Jan. 18, from 1-9 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 19, from 9 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. More information will be posted on www.cubs.com as details are confirmed.

A percentage of the proceeds from Cubs Convention benefits Chicago Cubs Charities. To date, Cubs Convention has raised approximately $4 million for Chicago Cubs Charities.
