He spent the majority of 2013 with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, going 7-10 with a 5.13 ERA (79 ER/138.2 IP) in 25 starts. Marshall tied his career high with 120 strikeouts and walked 68 batters. He was designated for assignment by the Yankees on December 19.

A native of Highlands, Texas, Marshall is 36-32 with a 4.07 ERA (278 ER/614.2 IP) in 115 career minor league games (113 starts) since the Yankees selected him in the sixth round of the 2008 draft.
