He's the first Cubs player to homer in both ends of a doubleheader since Alfonso Soriano did so on Sept. 15, 2007, in St. Louis, and the first Cubs player to do so in Cincinnati since Santo did on June 20, 1965. Santo hit a pair of three-run homers that day.
The Cubs outfielder, who was making his 28th and 29th starts in the two games, matched a career-high with four hits on Monday.
